Bản sao giấy khai sinh được thay thế hoàn toàn bản gốc?

Tôi bị mất khai sinh bản gốc, khi làm lại thì được cấp trích lục khai sinh (bản sao) và nhận câu trả lời từ năm 2016 nó có giá trị như bản gốc.

Tôi muốn hỏi cán bộ tư pháp trả lời như vậy có đúng không, trong khi nơi tôi làm thủ tục nhập học cứ yêu cầu phải xuất trình bản gốc?
